AD Pro: Behind the Design

In May 2019, Architectural Digest launched “Behind the Design,” a series of documentary-style videos that dive into the detail of some of the design world’s most important homes and studios. A creative collaboration between Architectural Digest and Noë & Associates, “Behind the Design” includes Danish architect Bjarke Ingels’ studio in New York, designer Bunny Williams’ home in Connecticut, Joseph Dirand's apartment in Paris, and Atelier AM's home in Los Angeles. All films are produced, directed, and edited by the Noë & Associates content team.

“This is about bringing another layer of content out of work we’re already doing.”

Architectural Digest is the sixth-biggest video content creator in the home category. "Behind the Design" provides rarely seen content with real long-term value for those with an interest in interior design.

Over 2 years and 9 episodes, Noë & Associates have had the opportunity to go behind the design of some of the most in-demand designers in the world. Those who rarely have the time to design for themselves, but when personal projects do arise the experience can be enlightening. Designers’ own homes and studios are perhaps the best reflection of themselves.
